Notley Tythe Barn Wedding Photographer
Paige & Adam’s Wedding
Wow, this venue is stunning. I was blown away when I arrived at Notley Tythe Barn on the morning of Paige and Adam’s wedding. I was welcomed by the majestic rolling hills and nestling barm in the middle of the country side.
This stunning barn is hidden away in a beautiful fold in the Chiltern Hills on the Bucks and Oxon border, Notley Tythe Barn is an ancestral part of the rolling landscape. The lovely owner’s Nick and Denise Reynolds restored the old 12th Century barn with its beam rafted roof and its spectacular wooden-beamed hall that has harvested many sounds of wedding celebrations.
Not only do you get to experience the country vibes of Notley Tythe Barn, but this mesmerizing venue also showcases the rolling countryside of the Chiltern Hills. All it takes is a short romantic stroll back up the driveway and you are blessed with some of the most incredible views for a couples shoot.

Why I Love To Photograph Weddings At Notley Tythe Barn
It is a pleasure to be a Notley Tythe Barn wedding photographer. I specialize in both sides of wedding photography. The natural candid photos which is more of a documentary style whilst also being able to confidently direct the most intimate photographic parts of the day such as the couple shoot and group shots. As can be seen above, myself, Paige and Adam had a lot of fun throughout the day taking the couple shot photos. I was very surprised and humbled when they sent me a very kind email and left me a fantastic review a few days after the wedding.
For me, photography is a profession but more importantly a passion that allows me to get creative with even the most camera-shy couples by forming that initial friendship-style relationship with them from the get-go. I like my couples to feel comfortable around me on their wedding day and want them to use my services and creative skillset because they like my style and my personality and not because of any awards that I may have won. Your wedding day is usually one of the most important days of your life and I believe that there is nothing more rewarding than capturing the true love between couples on their wedding day and helping them create moments that will be remembered for a lifetime.
Bridal Prep For Notley Tythe Barn
Paige and Adam decided to use Oxfordshire Golf Hotel Spa to get ready as they host a very spacious bridal suite room for large wedding parties to get ready, this also seems to be a very popular decision for people that are getting married at Notley Tythe Barn. Here are a few shots from the bridal prep of the girls having their hair and make-up done, putting the dress on and getting some bridal squad shots before they tied the knot.
Ceremony At Notley Tythe Barn
We are very lucky to have such a characteristic ceremony venue that offers tons of features in the UK. Notley Tythe Barn is situated between Long Crendon and Chearsley and is very easy to get to for couples that may not have been there before. Since 1991 the owners have hosted well over 2000 weddings and take a lot of pleasure in arranging each individual event. They know that each individual ceremony needs to be personal to each couple so they always go the extra mile to make sure every little detail is special. Whether that is making sure that they add some extra flowers to the chairs on the aisle, or rolling out the red carpet they always know how to impress.
In 1991 the owners of Notley Tythe barn Nick and Denise, restored the characteristic 12th Century barn. Now , with its beam rafted roof, its incredible whitewashed hall and beautiful surroundings constantly hosts the sounds of wedding celebrations. With it being both elegant and unique, it may just be the perfect setting for your special day.
The Wedding Reception At Notley Tythe Barn
Firstly, I want to commend the in-house chef Petr at Notley Tythe Barn. Ultimately, as soon as it is time for the wedding reception to start, you will most likely be starving and looking forward to the wedding breakfast. If you love food, then you will definitely not be disappointed by what Notley has to offer. They also like to source British fruit and vegetables and sustainable native fish. Beef and lamb are always British and sourced whenever possible from Notley itself of from their local farming friends.
For the rest of the wedding reception, this venue brings amazing vibes. From cutting the cake next to the huge wooden barn doors to, the best man cracking jokes and embarrassing the groom, to slow dancing with your newlywed bride/groom on the dancefloor in the marquee. Notley Tythe Barn really is the perfect venue for couples looking for a barn-style wedding venue. If you are thinking of getting married at this premium venue then I would love to hear from you…
